Buddhist Sketchbook

The Buddhist Sketchbook embodies Anicca, the doctrine of impermanence. As time passes, age etches its mark on the sketches, colours fade, and lines blur, mirroring the human journey from growth to decay.

These drawings are ‘endless,’ evolving with time, available materials and Milo’s mood.

Through countless hours of drawing, Milo delves into a realm where form dissolves, judgment fades, and expectations vanish. Lines and marks become windows into a deeper understanding of existence, blurring the boundaries between art and philosophy and challenging the very essence of creation itself.

The time I spend on these pages are incalculable. For one thing, I don’t keep track, and for another, I’m not really there. I’m not anywhere. I disappear into the process, sticking my head out here and there. I’m here now but soon again I’ll disappear. One day, perhaps, forever.
